This is a great On-Site opportunity for growth with an industry leader in our MNDC (Multi-National Data Center) maintaining our private cloud service. In this role you will be responsible for service request fulfillment, making changes to servers and network devices. Service request tickets are issued daily by the overseas team for support by the U.S. team in accordance with existing procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, and self-directed. You will be tasked with handling service request tickets, making recommendations for improvements, including proofreading, typographical errors, omissions, and major improvements such postproduction procedures. You will be responsible for identifying, accumulating, and reporting the improvement ideas and escalation of unresolved issues.

Other Required Skills:

Directory transfer/file edit & command line on Windows and Linux.

Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.

CCNA and/or equivalent certifications.

1+ year of experience as a server engineer.

Strong experience with Linux servers.

Hours:

(Daylight saving time) Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm

(Wintertime) Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:30 pm

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
